Make a poster that will educate the public on some aspect of irises. Diagrams, photos, or lab results and accompanying explanations should be included. Suggested topics are listed below. Qualified posters will be entered in local Iris shows and displayed at Iris society meetings.

11. Iris pigment (anthocyanidins) (pg. 360-365 World of Irises) A lab can be done with purple coloring. Boil purple cabbage. Drain off water. Use as an acid-base indicator. Can be stored in refrigerator.
