| I believe that children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. Let us hope always that when our children pray to learn that our teachers always appear for them. There are many Web Sites related to Youth and Gardening Projects. One great method to locate a few of these sites is to use a Search Engine. One of the most functional Search Engines is http://www.google.com To use this Search Engine, just type in your search topic into the dialogue box, then click the Google Search Bar or just hit the <enter> key. If you want to be more specific, choose your search topic more precisely. For example, if you want to find web sites associated with Youth and Iris, type Youth Iris in the dialogue box. You might try Youth Gardening -- or -- Youth Flowers -- or -- Youth Plants. These are just suggestions. Another way to find Youth related Gardening Web Sites is from other Gardening related web sites. Many of these similar topic web sites will share link addresses. Here is a list of other Youth Gardening Sites for starters: http://www.successlink.org
-- This Web Site is a public site and welcomes anyone to use it. There are
lots of other science teacher generated lessons for other topics (besides iris)
on this site. On this web site are other lessons put together by Valerie
Mertz. If you click
here or go to http://www.successlink.org/great3/g2237.htm
you can see Valerie's lessons located under the High School Life science.
Valerie is a Biology teacher and a CIP (Classroom Iris Project) leader.
Below is her contact information: Another web site is http://www.kidsgardening.com - a National Garden Resource Web Site for families and teachers. Yet another web site to add to the list is http://www.ahs.org/index.html - American Horticultural Society - with a "Youth Gardening" page http://www.ahs.org/youth_gardening/index.htm
