The above photograph was sent by Rita Gormley, Region 18. This photo was taken at the JeffCo Society Iris show on May 6th, 2006. The iris club had a "Kids Corner" special table where kids could color iris pictures, touch the irises, leaves, etc., look at the pollen and learn about irises. The idea came from the daffodil society and was very successful at their iris show. |
